I am disappointed with my recent stay at Paradise Village, Goa. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and unfortunately, the overall experience was not satisfactory.
Initially, we were allotted a room with a strong unpleasant odor, which we refused. The staff then shifted us to another room on the first floor. However, we later discovered a serious issue with the room door lock. It was not functioning properly and often could not be opened. Each time we returned to our room, we had to wait for staff assistance—even late at night—which was highly inconvenient.
Despite repeatedly informing the management, the issue was not properly addressed. On the third day, a maintenance technician applied oil to the lock and assured us it was fixed, but the problem persisted the same night. We also noticed that multiple staff members were required to open the door at times, clearly indicating a faulty lock that needed proper repair or replacement.
Additionally, the bed and mattress were very old and uncomfortable, which further affected our stay.
Overall, the lack of timely maintenance and poor room condition made our experience disappointing. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves their facilities and service.
Location good. Rooms Average. Biggest challenge is service. Staff can be better trained and groomed. Room service not acceptable. Morning calling room service for tea. No one picks up. Called reception. Response is room service is from 8am. Overall average experience.
We had visited Paradise beach resort
It was a very bad experience .The rooms felt uneasy and not suitable.Maintenance was mid .Pool had lifeguard still small children peed in the pool. The restaurant was not responding to our orders. They were making excuses for ordering.
Location is a little bit horror.
I would not recommend this resort for a vacation .Especially for 5starr people
It is an amazing experience in paradise village resort it actually gives proper goa beach vibes as beach is approximately 200 m behind resort as their lunch , breakfast and dinner is unlimited and having good and supportive staff there really enjoyed a lot ( goes with family)
I was really disappointed with my stay at this resort. At the time of check-in, the room that was supposed to be allotted to me was not given, and after some delay I was shifted to another room which unfortunately was not clean. The room looked poorly maintained and did not meet basic cleanliness expectations, which made the start of the stay uncomfortable.
The most upsetting part of the experience was that my mobile phone went missing from the room. I informed the staff , but I did not receive much support and was simply told that nothing was found. This was very concerning, as guests expect their belongings to be safe during their stay. The matter did not seem to be taken seriously, which added to the frustration.
Overall, the experience was not pleasant. I hope the management improves room cleanliness, allocation process, and guest security so that others do not face similar issues in the future.
