We recently stayed at this beautiful jungle resort as a family, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable getaways.. The property is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing escape from everyday life.
What made the experience especially special was seeing it through the eyes of our toddler daughter. She absolutely loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping every morning and was fascinated by the variety of birds around the resort. One of her favorite companions during our stay was the resort's friendly dog-Candy, who she eagerly looked for every day and couldn't stop talking about. The Spa is excellent too.
The tree house was another highlight for her. She was thrilled to explore it and spent hours playing there. The well-maintained play area kept her entertained, and the swimming pool was a big hit with the whole family. Watching her splash around and enjoy herself so freely made the trip even more enjoyable for us as parents.
The staff was warm and welcoming, well trained and always ready to help with a smile. The resort strikes a wonderful balance between comfort and nature, making it an ideal destination for families looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors.
We left with beautiful memories, happy hearts, and a daughter who is already asking when we can come back. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a peaceful, family-friendly retreat in the lap of nature.
This is a quiet place cocooned in the middle of plenty of large trees, colorful plants, flowers and thoughtful landscaping.
The rooms are Cosy, comfortable and quiet.
Then only area Incould think that needs to be done better is the breakfast timings and spread. They serve breakfast practically after 9 AM.
If you want to start early tongo to the beach or any other place, you will end up skipping the breakfast.
Also, if you have an early check out, they just have no ability or willingness to pack breakfast for you.
Reataurant dor dinner along the pool is basic but a good experience as it is quiet and sometimes lonely !
This place is at least 45 minutes from nearest beach, so if beach is what you want always, this may not be the place for you.
However if you are looking for greenery, hills, spice gardens, water falls etc...look no further.
The other part is folks at reception. They need to be more knowledgeable and helpful. That can make a lot of difference. When we asked them what all can we do, they said please refer the booklet kept in the room !!
The booklet ofcourse has good information, but then, hey...you are local folks. You can tell more than what a lifeless book can reveal.
I recently visited Niravana Hill Resort, and the location is truly beautiful. Nestled amidst nature, the surroundings are calm, refreshing, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind away from the city. The fresh air and peaceful environment are definitely the highlights of this place.
However, the stay experience did not fully match the expectations set by the location. The rooms were not very comfortable. The washroom roof is not completely sealed, which allows even small sounds—like running water—to be clearly heard inside the room, affecting privacy and comfort. Additionally, the beds tend to make a lot of noise with even slight movement, which can be quite disturbing, especially for light sleepers.
If you’re planning to visit with a pet, I would strongly recommend clarifying all related charges in advance. While there are additional pet fees and a refundable deposit, the exact charges were not clearly communicated to us beforehand, which led to confusion during our stay.
The staff could also benefit from better training in terms of customer communication and clarity around policies, as guests may not always be aware of internal rules or charges.
Overall, the property has great potential because of its location, but improvements in room comfort and customer communication would significantly enhance the experience.
Perfect location surrounded by lush green well maintained property and facing beautiful lake view of St. Alex church, besides this there is nothing good about this resort- for the prices of the rooms that they charge the breakfast buffet is very limited and the service is very average- an ordinary low-key 2 star or 3 star serves better breakfast than them with way better service . The rooms are good no doubt but not so well maintained, the shower area leaks and dirties the entry and we had to request room cleaning just after first day of using it.
They preach disconnecting from nature and no tvs makes sense but it lacked basic amenities like hair dryer and iron.
If you are here to just disconnect from the daily hustle it’s a good place but if you are here for the experience would not recommend this place for such high prices.
⭐ 1/5 — Disappointing Experience. Don't Be Fooled by the Ratings.
I stayed at this hotel in January and February, and I regret to say it was one of the worst hospitality experiences I've had. Before booking, I was misled by the glowing 5-star reviews — which, in my opinion, do not reflect the reality at all.
Food Quality — Unacceptable
The food was genuinely disappointing. I ordered their Chicken 65, and it was honestly the worst version of this dish I have ever tasted. For a hotel of this category, the kitchen standards are far below expectation.
Hidden Charges — Lack of Transparency
What really frustrated me was the room service pricing. They charge extra for room service on top of all applicable taxes — with little to no clear communication upfront. This kind of billing practice feels deliberately misleading.
The Only Positive — Location
To be fair, the location is convenient. But a good address alone cannot compensate for poor food, questionable reviews, and opaque pricing.
My Honest Advice:
If you're considering this hotel, look beyond the star ratings. There are better options available at similar or lower price points that actually deliver on their promises.
