If you’re in Arambol and craving a proper European-style bakery experience, this German Bakery is a solid stop. The place has a very laid-back, rustic vibe with wooden seating and a relaxed crowd—perfect for chilling over coffee.
The display is honestly tempting—everything from butter croissants and cinnamon rolls to chocolate pastries, cheesecakes, and cookies. The croissants looked fresh and flaky, while the chocolate desserts were rich and indulgent. Prices are reasonable for a tourist spot, though a few items feel slightly on the higher side for the portion.
Taste-wise, most items deliver well—especially the baked goods, which feel freshly made and authentic. The variety is impressive, so you’ll definitely find something for your mood, whether it’s sweet or savory.
Initially I’d stopped for a drink, then I saw the cakes!
I had a mango lassi, apple crumble, and a caramel latte - all of which were fabulous.
Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean.
If ever I am in Arambol again I will definitely revisit the German Bakery.
This is such a copy corner with comfort food. My love for bakery attracted me towards this eatery. The staff and others were really helpful and quick with service. I really enjoyed my daily eggs and their butter toast. I also tried few healthy ginger shots which was a delight as well. And the chicken roll/patty was extra delicious as well. This is going to be my go to stop everytime I visit Harmal. ✨️✨️
I really enjoyed the breakfast here. I ordered the Israeli breakfast, and it was very fresh and delicious. The avocado was perfectly ripe, and everything tasted high quality.
We also had cappuccino afterwards — the coffee was very tasty and perfectly made. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and flavorful.
I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again!
"Found my go-to spot in Arambol! The atmosphere at the German Bakery is perfectly chilled out. I tried the Chicken Fried Rice, which was surprisingly authentic and packed with flavor—not greasy at all. But the real star? The Blueberry Cheesecake. It’s rich, creamy, and has just the right amount of tang. Perfect place to lose track of time with a friends or loved ones !!
