We went to this place because all the reviews were great and we wanted our one year old to see the dogs and the other animals at the cafe. The dogs were really adorable and they hovered at out table a few minutes and walked away. They were friendly and welcoming.
While the cafe itself is beautiful in terms of the plants, infact it reminded me of the cozy south east Asian cafes, haven't seen much of this kinda vibe in south Goa, that's where everything I liked about the cafe ends.
The cafe is not very well kept. It is dusty, the floors maybe swept but in general the whole place looks like it's not maintained. The kitchen waste is being let out into the gutter at the entrance of the cafe and it has a bad odor at the entrance. The mason jars were not washed well and ruined our appetite. Have attached a photo (there's dirt on the rim along with two dead ants).
But I think what was the worst part of the experiencr was that it took them nearly 45 minutes to give us two sandwiches. And the sandwiches were the most basic ham and cheese slices. I expected them to taste atleast average but there was no taste. Too bland.
Overall I feel bad I wasted my Sunday evening at this place, especially since I was looking forward to the experience based on the reviews - would not recommend.
I've seen a couple of people visit this beautiful cafe in Chandor and I dropped in. Omgggg! This place is so tranquil and has such great vibes, everything is soothing and lets you have a good time.
I tried some an authentic Goan sweet dish and kokum drink and it was truly delicious.
If you just want to chill, play some board games and avoid the city chaos, this garden cafe is worth the visit.
One of the best café! I honestly wasn’t expecting to find such an aesthetic and beautifully place in this area(South Goa). From the cozy ambience to the thoughtfully presented food, everything was impressive. What truly stood out was the warmth of the people in charge and the excellent service. They made the experience even more memorable. If you appreciate good food, great hospitality, and Instagram-worthy aesthetics, this café is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
