Had a wonderful experience at Guru Restaurant during my Goa trip. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was prepared perfectly and served with great presentation. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.
What made the experience even better was the excellent service. The staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food quality, hygiene, and overall hospitality were impressive. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, or as a couple, Guru Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty food and great service in Goa. Will definitely visit again🍽️✨❤️🌴🌟
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
Guru Bar is worth visiting for its amazing location. The biggest highlight is the stunning sea view, especially during sunset when the atmosphere is even more beautiful. The waves crashing against the rocks below create a unique and relaxing vibe.
The food was decent but nothing extraordinary. However, the drinks were excellent and reasonably priced compared to many other restaurants in the area, making it a great place to enjoy a few cocktails with a view.
There's also a lower seating area close to the water, which looks incredible, but I'd recommend being cautious during the monsoon season as the waves can get quite rough and it may be unsafe.
Overall, if you're looking for great drinks, beautiful ocean views, and good value for money, Guru Bar is definitely worth a visit, especially around sunset.
To be honest, Overhyped place not worth it.
We ordered the food and food was served after 30 mins although we ordered spaghetti aglio olio without veggies but they ordered with lots of veggies and after I told to change they simply remove the veggies and served it cold.
I recommend just to go for vibes nd drinks, food is just waste of money and if I talk about taste was just ok ok.
But honestly the music is top notch and also enjoy the sea view with amazing vibes
✅ Pros
No cover charge: Unlike many cliffside cafés in Anjuna, Guru Bar lets you enjoy the sunset without paying a minimum spend per person.
- Sunset view: The view is just as stunning as other cliff cafés—perfect for sipping a beer slowly while the sun dips into the horizon.
- Beach access: You can easily walk down to the stone beach directly from the café, adding to the vibe.
- Free parking for bikes/scooters: Convenient if you’re coming by two-wheeler, especially since parking is tight on the cliff road.
- Relaxed atmosphere: No pressure to order more than you want, making it a laid-back spot compared to others with stricter policies.
⚠️ Cons
- Narrow cliff road: Access can be tricky, especially for cars, and parking is limited if you’re not on a scooter/bike.
- Basic setup: Some might find the vibe less polished compared to more upscale cliff cafés that charge a cover.
- Crowds at sunset: Since it’s free entry, expect it to get busy during peak sunset hours.
Food is simply good.. we ordered honey chilli potato & watermelon cooler.. the ambience is good enough, not like all the expensive clubs around but good.. plus when we visited in April 2026 there were no cover charges.. so thats an additional plus point in compare to clubs around costing 2k per person.. especially if you’re a non drinker.. overall good vibes! 👍🏼👍🏼
