HOSA was undoubtedly one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had in Goa. The restaurant beautifully celebrates South Indian cuisine with creativity, precision, and incredible flavours. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.
A special mention to Chef Mayur, who personally curated our menu and desserts based on our preferences. His passion, attention to detail, and storytelling behind each dish made the experience truly memorable. You can tell that every plate has been designed with heart and purpose. The chocolate dessert, paired with the refreshing ice cream, was a spectacular finish to an already outstanding meal.
The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers more than just great food, HOSA delivers a complete culinary experience. Huge compliments to Chef Mayur and the entire team. Looking forward to coming back on my next trip to Goa!
Hosa was easily one of the most memorable meals we had in Goa. The restaurant itself is beautiful - a restored heritage bungalow with a warm, elegant ambience that immediately sets the tone for the experience.
The food was exceptional. We especially loved the Chicken Ghee Roast with Coin Parotas, the Shimeji Mushroom Varuval, and the Potato Ghassi with Neer Dosa. We also happened to visit during their summer menu and the Thairu Vadai and Muskmelon Sorbet were perfect for the Goan weather - light, refreshing, and packed with flavour.
The cocktails were thoughtfully crafted too. The Kokum Cola Soda and Naughty Paloma paired really well with the meal.
What stood out most was how Hosa manages to stay rooted in authentic South Indian flavours while presenting them in a fresh, innovative way. Every dish felt carefully thought through without losing its soul.
Great food, warm hospitality, and a space that makes you want to linger a little longer. Would happily return the next time we’re in Goa.
The ambience is amazing, very polite staff and the food is perhaps one of the finest in Goa.
The places has a high speed wifi for a nice "work from anywhere" session in a cool atmosphere.
It's not too loud. You can enjoy long conversations here.
Would recommend going there 10/10!
This is a fine dining restaurant with a small menu and prices that are expected from high quality food. The food is thougtfully curated to with the use of south indian cuisine as a base with spice levels being mostly mild, yet flavourful. The coconut prawns and the mutton with marrow are a must try. The service is great with the only the explanation of food while being served missing. The ambience is simplistic with comfortable and overly spacious seating
An absolute tribute to south indian cuisine
Andhra biryani - loved the mild flavour of the chicken and the raita paired with it was an excellent touch with a hint of sweetness
Prawn Alleppey curry- The coconut curry formed a subtle vibrant curry base for the fresh earthy nature of the prawns which was brilliant when paired with the perfectly fluffy and flawlessly executed appam
Potato Gassi- A sweet curry with soft succulent potatoes formed , although the gassi was a bit too sweet for my liking it was a perfect accompaniment for the soft neer dosa
Naranga chicken- flavourful succulent orange flavoured chicken with a dashing side dip. The flavour of the orange was seeping in every bite
We also received 2 complimentary dishes -
Potato pops with cauliflower hummus - the hummus was extremely creamy and rich absolutely outstanding with the crispy potato pops.
Ice cream with watermelon granita - such a creamy moreish ice cream and the spicy granita cut through the sweetness perfectly. A MasterChef level desert.
The ambience of the place was excellent. The staff were well trained and were really welcoming.
Definitely would recommend again
