CAFFE SICILY

We had a great time during our visit on a Monday evening. The place was not very crowded during our visit. The staff was polite and attentive and the service was fairly quick. Their coffee and chocolate based beverages were quite good. We tried their Parma Romana pizza and it was delicious, probably the best pizza I have personally had. We also tried the Aglio Olio pasta and the Mushroom and Tomato Pizza which were also quite good. Their gelato was decent and they had limited flavours available. During our visit, their restrooms were under maintenance and weren't functional. They have sockets and WiFi, and a few of our team members worked remotely during our visit. Overall, we had a good time and I would certainly return to try their pizza again.

Visited for lunch. Tried cold coffee, Margherita pizza, and Alfredo pasta. Cold coffee was excellent, proper thick and cold - just the way i like it! Pizza was actually the best pizza i have tried till now in India. Superb pizza base and top notch cheese used in the preparation! Pasta - this was a complete let down. Expected it to be amazing as well but it was full of black pepper. Not just little but actually loaded with black pepper. My wife could not take more than one bite. I tried to enjoy it but after few bites it just started to taste bitter so had to leave it. And the bread that was served with pasta was literally like rubber, I am sad you guys messed up pasta, really wanted pasta to also join the club with cold coffee and pizza :( Gave the feedback to server as well at the time of billing but don't know if he passed it on as he didn't say a word! Atmosphere - very nice sitting, love the vibe. Please add portable Ac or mist fans as ceiling fans are not enough in Goa heat. Definitely recommend this palce for pizza and beverages, can skip pasta per my opinion.

We were welcomed with complimentary sample shots of their lemon iced tea which was the perfect antidote to a hot April afternoon. It turned out to be the best iced tea I’d had in a long time, it had a subtle hint of cinnamon that worked beautifully, convincing us to order full glasses immediately. Ordering is done through a QR code menu which can feel a little impersonal but the staff still made the effort to check in on us regularly, which I really appreciated. We ordered a pizza that turned out to be one of the best wood-fired pizzas I’ve had, genuinely rivalling some of the ones we enjoyed in Italy. The ravioli was equally impressive, especially the red sauce which had a kick of Indian red chilli. Everything was aesthetically pleasing and flavourful!

The food was good, and we enjoyed the overall quality. However, I felt the pricing was a bit on the higher side compared to the overall experience. While it’s worth trying, there are other restaurants nearby that offer similar quality and value for money. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I believe the pricing could be more competitive.

When we walked in around 10 pm and realised we were the first customers, I was momentarily taken aback. I even asked my husband if he’d checked the recent reviews before we entered. Trusting the reviews, we decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad we did, because they absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered the Diavola pizza, which was truly lip-smacking and disappeared from our table in no time. We also tried the spinach ravioli in white sauce, my husband found it slightly on the saltier side, though as someone who enjoys a bit of extra salt, I didn’t mind it at all. For dessert, we indulged in the tiramisu and the pecan cheesecake both were delightful and a perfect way to end the meal. The food overall was really good. A few small improvements could elevate the experience even further enhancing the ambience and aesthetics of the place, better maintenance of the washrooms, and having more staff on hand would help ensure quicker and more attentive service. All in all, it’s definitely a place worth trying, especially for the food, and we’d happily go back.
