Beachstreet Eco Resort & Spa has a very specific vibe, and it may not suit everyone. The resort is extremely quiet—guests are not allowed to play music even at very low volumes or talk openly, which felt quite restrictive for us. If you’re looking for a lively or even moderately social atmosphere, this may not be the right place. The huts are very small and get extremely hot during the daytime, making it almost impossible to stay inside comfortably. This can be a big drawback, especially in warm weather (Goa is hot during mid day all year). The shower water pressure was also very poor, which was disappointing. That said, the complimentary breakfast was genuinely very good, both in quality and variety, and the beach view during breakfast is excellent and relaxing. The location right by the beach is definitely a strong plus. Overall, this resort seems best suited for senior citizens, yoga enthusiasts, or people who prefer complete silence, early nights, and early mornings (it's not over yet for me). If you enjoy music, conversations, or daytime comfort indoors, you may want to consider other options. 5 stars for location, breakfast and service but overall 3 stars.

The reason why this review has 2 stars is because of the location of the resort and the cleanliness. The staff especially the two guys on the reception, rude and oversmart, there was hardly any interaction through the stay. We had booked the most expensive rooms on the property. But during checkout which was mentioned 12pm from 1130 to 1203 that it took to get the bags out they behaved like I was doing some crime, although their check in time is 2pm. They kept calling every 2 mins and when I reached the reception in like 2 minutes to 12 they shut up. I asked them what was the problem and they were just being passive aggressive. No apologies nothing. I didn’t see anyone waiting for any room. Absolutely irritating behaviour and with my friend who is a North Indian the behaviour was even worse. I don’t think they have proper hotel staff it’s just some people who have been randomly been given a job. Maybe they used to work in call centres but it’s definitely not hotel staff. When our car came to the reception none of the hotel staff even helped put it in. So yes over smart and full of attitude.

I strongly believe that many so-called eco-friendly resorts need to re-evaluate how they position and price themselves. A rustic concept with thatched roofs, open-to-sky spaces, and minimalistic design may certainly appeal to backpackers or travellers seeking a raw, nature-centric experience. However, when such properties are priced close to, or only marginally below, established full-service hotels operating alongside them, the value equation becomes difficult to justify. Eco-tourism should represent sustainability, thoughtful design, and harmony with nature — not an excuse for weak infrastructure, poor-quality food, or poorly maintained facilities. Guests today are discerning; they understand the difference between intentional simplicity and cost-cutting disguised as sustainability. If the experience being offered is genuinely basic — limited comforts, simple amenities, modest dining — then the pricing should reflect that transparently and fairly. Charging premium or near-premium rates for a product that feels inexpensive or poorly executed ultimately undermines both guest trust and the credibility of eco-tourism itself. In essence, eco-friendly hospitality must either deliver quality that aligns with its pricing, even within a rustic framework, or position itself honestly at the lower end of the market. Without that alignment, the model simply does not sustain itself. Oh and this place is crawling with mangy dogs that make the restaurant so unsafe!!!

The Bizarre Bazar organised by Beachstreet Eco Resort is absolutely rocking! Fabulous live music, a vast variety of handpicked products , customers who understand and appreciate "handmade" and not to mention, the perfect organisation of the event, good food and helpful staff plus management.... As a vendor I can only say - delightful, on the whole. And a big Thank You to all who make it happen!!

The resort is absolutely stunning, easily worth 10 stars, not only 5❤️. Everything is spotless; the attention to detail truly impressed me. The whole place smells wonderful, the lines and towels are perfectly clean, there are mosquito nets, and the property is guarded by security, so we felt completely safe. The pool is extremely clean, the restaurant food is a solid 10/10, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. This place offers a unique experience that is worth trying at least once. It gave us such positive energy, falling asleep to the sound of the waves and crickets, was magical. The property is set right on the ocean, in a quiet area, yet still close to town and to Sweet Lake, just a 30-minute walk along the shore. I would come back here over and over again! You must book this resort ❤️❤️❤️
