We stayed at Azaya Beach Resort from 24th June to 27th June and had booked a Pool Villa along with another room. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money.
The problems started with our Pool Villa, where there was water leakage inside the room, and the pool lights were not working. Despite informing the staff, they were unable to fix these issues promptly.
The service was equally disappointing. Even for basic requests like towels, we had to wait for over an hour and make at least 3–4 follow-up calls before receiving any response. Eventually, after repeated complaints, they changed our room.
However, the problems did not end there. In the new room, we had no water supply for more than three hours, making it impossible to use the bathroom or even freshen up. This level of inconvenience is unacceptable for a luxury resort.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the food, which was good. However, good food alone cannot make up for poor maintenance, lack of basic facilities, and extremely poor customer service.
Overall Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
Pros: Good food.
Cons: Poor maintenance, slow and unresponsive service, inadequate customer relations, and failure to provide basic amenities despite charging premium prices.
I would not recommend this resort based on my experience.
We were truly impressed by the warm hospitality at Azaya Beach Resort. Chef Preetam Bisht and the entire team welcomed us with genuine smiles and ensured that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their kindness, professionalism, and attentive service made our experience truly memorable. We highly recommend Azaya Beach Resort for its exceptional hospitality.
Excellent hospitality, stunning landscaping, and fantastic pool villas made our holiday truly unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Preetam and the entire team for their exceptional service, warmth, and attention to detail. They made our vacation incredibly special.
A great host can change a rough stay into a wonderful memory. Even when unexpected problems pop up, a kind and helpful person makes all the difference. When Things Go Wrong
The unexpected flaws: The property had a few hidden issues like slow room service, creaky old facilities, or minor setup delays.
Initial frustration: These small odds could have easily ruined the mood and spoiled the trip right at the start.
The Power of Good ServiceStepping up: The host took personal responsibility to fix every issue with a warm smile.
Going extra miles: He offered quick solutions, and cheerful chats that turned annoyance into comfort.
Saving the trip: Because of his genuine care, we focused on the fun parts instead of the flaws.
I really thank Stanford for his exceptional service cheers mate !
The Hotel location is well situated attached to beach. Facilities are well available but the biggest problem is “Service”. There are absolutely very less ppl for housekeeping and food service and no one for Pool area and lack of service or availability of things when you are not attended to make you wonder why you pay 15k per night!! This is very disappointing and don’t recommended it. Bfast was a long waiting for all the orders. Pls add more staff and improve the service quality. If you maintain it well, it has good potential to be a beautiful beach attached place.
