We stayed for one week at this hotel in Goa as a family of five, and everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel is ideally located just a three-minute drive from the beach, which can easily be reached using the golf cart service provided by the hotel.
From the hotel itself to the atmosphere and the swimming pool, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were truly extraordinary: always smiling, welcoming, and ready to help. This applied to everyone, from the housekeeping team to the bartenders, the restaurant staff and the reception desk.
Speaking of the restaurant, I would especially like to thank Sourav and his team for the many meals we enjoyed at the hotel’s main restaurant, which offers breakfast and dinner in both buffet and à la carte formats. The food was excellent, very diverse, and the service was outstanding.
We spent the night of December 31st to January 1st at the hotel without having any particular expectations, and it turned out to be exceptional. Even though my siblings and I are young adults over 18, the evening was perfectly suited for everyone: couples, young children, adults, and young adults alike.
The hotel also offers yoga sessions, both group sessions included in the stay and private sessions available at an extra cost. The group sessions were very relaxing and enjoyable.
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone working at this resort for their kindness and warm hospitality.
I highly recommend this place.
Visited Alila Diwa again and it never disappoints. I’ve always loved the vibes, the expansive views, the warm hospitality, and of course, their brunches.
This visit was a relaxed Sunday date with my best friend,
exactly what we needed. We spent our time by the poolside restaurant, enjoying cocktails and Asian cuisine in the most serene setting. The calm, the service, and the overall atmosphere made it truly special.
A beautiful property that feels like a pause from everyday life. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
We had an excellent experience at Alila Diwa Goa. As an event company, smooth coordination and prompt support are extremely important for us, and the team truly delivered.
A special thanks to Aarti, Shruti, Breanna, Samarth, Denzil, Clinton, and Iscio for being incredibly helpful, cooperative, and proactive throughout. Their professionalism, quick responses, and constant support made our work much easier and stress-free.
Really appreciate the teamwork and hospitality looking forward to many more successful events together! ✨
It's a nice resort! Rooms are amazing, pools are very nice, location is good (though not near any ATMs, FYI, so stock up elsewhere if you want to hang out at a cash-only beach shack).
In-house restaurants were pretty mixed. We liked the breakfast (lots of variety and good South Indian options), but the service for lunch/dinner was insanely overbearing - every time we started serving ourselves from our shared dishes, they'd rush over and offer to help. Like, do you think I'm five years old? I can serve myself. Why would you run over, ask me where I want you to serve my curry, then slowly, painstakingly, spoon some of it onto my plate, when I could just serve it myself wherever I see fit? Leave me alone!
The restaurants also have zero atmosphere whatsoever and they're very expensive. Food is fine but not exceptional. I would recommend just staying here for the rooms/property and eating elsewhere. Martin's Corner is nearby and serves very good Goan food.
Oh, and stay away from the salon services if you don't have Indian hair - they seemed to have zero idea how to deal with my partner's hair and ended up botching her haircut.
The hotel itself was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was awesome and the food was very flavorful with an exceptional variety of dishes. There were two downsides because of which I did not give it 5 stars; (i) this is a wedding hotel and there is very frequent loud noise somewhere or the other in the hotel - for example, really loud drums right in front of the lobby for nearly 2 hours; (ii) We had around 8-10 power outages during our 2-day stay - thankfully these lasted for only 2-10 minutes each time, but even so they were a major nuisance.
