Beautifully transformed heritage home to party venue for a limited crowd of about 200 to 300 people. Crowds of 400 and above could make it claustrophobic, especially given that the indoors has fans (although a good number of them) for the most of the cooling requirement. Overall, well preserved and maintained architect, besides the pieces of art of various forms around every corner.
Location wise, a bit of an interior drive but that's what makes it picturesque with the kind of other heritage structure all along Chandor.
Ample parking for the limited crowd. Doesn't appear to be wheelchair accessible, for those who might need to check for arrangements before visiting. All in all a grand place but limited to roofs and no available outdoor settings.
“This place is slightly away from the main road, giving you a peaceful feeling away from all the hustle and bustle. The ambiance is wonderful, with a charming Portuguese house setup that adds to the experience. I would recommend this place for parties like weddings etc...Parking has enough place no issues l.”
I attended a birthday celebration at Achies Grandeza in Chandor, Goa. It’s an old Portuguese house converted into a party venue, which gives the place a very unique and elegant heritage vibe. The ambience feels warm and traditional, yet suitable for celebrations. The space is good for birthdays and family events, and overall the experience was enjoyable. A great option if you want something different from regular banquet halls.
