Some places grow on you over time. This place was a cliche case of love at first sight. The ambience is absolutely stunning. The landscaping, the decor, the lighting,every single corner feels carefully thought out. Not a single thing seemed out of place. It's the kind of restaurant where you find yourself looking around between bites because every detail is so beautifully put together. The food more than held its own against the gorgeous setting. The beef roulade was excellent, but the standout dish for me was the pork feijoada. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavour, it's easily the dish I'll be coming back for. The breads were fresh, and the sannas were soft, fluffy, and perfect for mopping up all the gravies. The prawns curry was another highlight. It was mild, subtle, and incredibly flavourful without relying on spice. Really appreciated how balanced it was. The pork assad was equally enjoyable, gentle, comforting flavours done well without trying too hard. This is one of those rare places where the ambience could easily steal the show, but the food refuses to be overshadowed. Beautiful surroundings, thoughtful cooking, and several dishes I'd happily order again.

Carlitos Attique is set in a beautiful old Portuguese house, and stepping in instantly felt warm and familiar, it genuinely reminded me of home. The ambience is charming and full of character, making it a lovely place to enjoy a traditional Goan meal. We tried a variety of dishes, including the beef stew, pork vindaloo, pork amsol, rawa fried mussels, rawa fried steak, prawn rissois, and pork chops. Everything was flavourful and well prepared, with the pork dishes standing out in particular for their authentic taste. A great spot for comforting Goan food in a nostalgic setting. Would definitely visit again.

A bit out of the way, but make no mistake, one of the best in Goa. Setup in an old Portuguese Villa, attention to detail is given to every piece of furniture and the whole setup. Whether indoors in AC or outdoors under Mangalore tiles, the ambience is nostalgic. Service is absolutely great, all the staff are well trained, suggest the freshest of dishes and drinks. The special fish thali is a melody of different fish prepared the Goan way, pur bliss. The pork fejuado in a claypot with pav was legend. A good collection of coconut, cashew and flavoured fenis. We drove long distances to eat here twice in 3 days and wouldn't mind again.

Add to that some excellent urrak, and the experience feels complete.
