Stayed here for 3 nights in the superior room with breakfast and dinner package. Been here 18 years ago when it was newly opened in 2008 under Sarovar hotel management and nothing has changed now under Lemon Tree. Room was in good shape with a vintage look and it had all the amenities that will keep you comfortable.
House keeping, reception and room service was good. You ask for anything and you get it.
Balashawri, Payel and Sushmitha from the restaurant were very attentive and took care of all our needs. A big thumbs up on this aspect.
Thanks for making our 20th wedding anniversary a memorable one.
Whenever room service is ordered they always bring the bill with it.It is basic and standard to add the bills and pay while checkout but its not followed here. I asked the restaurant to provide lemon slices and they said will do,but when the waiter came with the food he only brought 2 small slices and argued to bring some slices of lemon. If its really meant to be a good restaurant it wouldn’t make an issue on providing some lemon slices to customer on request. If thats the case the restaurant should have said in the first place that we cant serve it.
Work on the service and customer satisfaction.
Worst experience after staying at this resort. The overall quality of service was very poor. The room AC was not working, and guests are not allowed to use the swimming pool after 7:30 PM. The restaurant staff was extremely uncooperative and did not listen at all—you have to wait for everything. There is no lift in the property, which makes it very inconvenient.
Additionally, two-wheelers are not allowed to be parked inside the property; guests are forced to park outside, which is completely unsafe and inconvenient.
This resort is absolutely not worth the money. The staff seems to serve only the hotel’s managers and VIPs; all employees were busy attending to senior management visits rather than caring for regular guests.
I am currently staying at Lazy Lagoon, Baga - A Lemon Tree Resort, and it has been an incredible experience. The hotel’s service is prompt, and the overall atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends.
A special shout-out to the restaurant team for their amazing hospitality. The food was delicious, but what truly made our meals memorable was the exceptional service. I want to personally thank Sushmita and Jelina for being so attentive, polite, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed with a warm smile.
If you are looking for a place in Goa with great service and a welcoming staff, this is it! Highly recommended.
No wifi since servers were down, hand towels not kept in room and needed to be asked for multiple times, half decent breakfast options but no live counter for dosa or paratha, had to pay extra for late check out, staff not trained properly and employees at reception were dense and most couldn’t communicate in English. Definitely not worth the lofty reviews on travel sites.
